Two runaways from Heaven and Hell are trying to make a new life for themselves on Earth and are doing a pretty good job going unnoticed by their former bosses. That’s until one of the pair, Angel, stops a robbery in a diner which propels him into super stardom. Not only does this put a strain on the pair’s relationship, but Angel’s old boss, God, is brought back into Angel’s life when he sends a new adversary to bring Angel home. Now the pair must fight to keep their new life style, dealing with the wrath of God and tricky schemes from the master of Hell himself, Satan. The two end up proving themselves and strengthening their friendship on an adventure that takes them through Limbo, Purgatory, and then into Heaven to face God directly. Along the way, they meet some new friends and deal with nonstop trouble from the fairer sex.
